5 Innovative Ideas for Planning Highly Entertaining Corporate Events or Parties
Corporate Planning of any kind of event can be a stressful endeavor, no matter how much time you have in advance to put it all together. With so many aspects to manage — venue, music, food, seating, etc. — trying to keep things organized and under control can prove to be a bit overwhelming. One of the biggest anxieties for most event professionals is trying to create an event that will successfully entertain most, if not all, of the invited guests. Although they say it’s impossible to please all of the people all of the time, the following ideas are sure to put smiles on the faces of a good portion of your invited guests and make planning corporate events seem like child’s play. Some corporate events are quite serious and others are less so. Which do you want?
For Large Events, Create a Hashtag and Encourage Attendees to Use it in Photos
Let’s face it, folks are joined at the hip these days to their electronic devices. If there’s a party, there’s going to be photos on social media. Enhance the social experience by asking guests in the initial invites to use the Hashtag in social media posts before and during the event. Then, remind them again at the event by placing signs labeled with the hashtag at the entrance and around the venue.
I don’t believe in the Republican party or the Democratic party. I just believe in parties.

Include a Demonstration When Planning Corporate Events
Kick the event up a notch by adding a mini-event within the event! Give the attendees an opportunity to learn or try something new — have a bartender give a demonstration of how to make a “flaming” party cocktail or rent a mechanical bull and let guests give it a whirl. Corporate gigs don’t have to be boring and stodgy! They can be fun and something that the attendants can look forward to year after year! Planning Corporate Events requires you to kick things up a notch. The Replicas Music gets every party started and keeps it going all night! Live music is a must for every event!
Use Whimsical Reminders of the Season for Photos
As Instagram has shown us, people love taking wacky pictures of themselves, especially when they’re with a group of friends. Set up a photo booth or section with props that wouldn’t normally be available indoors, i.e., beach balls, sand and bathing suits during the summer or fur hats, snow and skis during the winter.[
If Kids Will Be Attending, Create a Kid Zone
Nothing can put a damper on an event for parents quicker than bored kids asking “when will we be done?,” every 10 minutes. If you anticipate having kids at the event, plan a way to keep them busy and entertained so their accompanying adults can experience some guilt-free enjoyment of the festivities. Section off an area of the venue to use as a “Kids-Only” zone, plan a movie showing and/or hire a children’s entertainer who can keep the kids occupied with arts and crafts, live music entertainment and games for a couple of hours.
