Avalon Hotel Palm Springs 50th Birthday

It’s Party Time…

at the Avalon Hotel Palm Springs for Kent’s 50th Birthday.  “Who you gonna call?!!”  Well, Kent called The Replicas Music to provide him with the most awesome 80s band to celebrate his big 5-0, and let us tell you, it was off-the-charts amazing!  It was pouring rain and there were a few change of plans and Joey of Artisan Events handled everything effortlessly.  The party went off without a hitch.

Dinner Trio / Quartet / Quintet

Our Music Director sat in his drum throne and began to conduct the Bass Player and Keyboardist into jazzy renditions of some pop and top 40 hits, such as Uptown Funk, Get Lucky, and Blurred lines.  Soon after, Veronica and Cheyenne joined in to sing some ballads like Time After Time, Maneater, At Last, Let’s Stay Together.

And We Danced!

Then we took off with the entire 8 piece band and played all the 80s classics our client requested.  It was a night to certainly remember.  We had a packed dance floor for 3 whole (one-hour) sets of music.  It was non-stop fun!  The best part of the night was singing Happy Birthday into Born This Way by Lady Gaga and everyone dancing with enlarged photos of Kent in various stages of his youth. It was a hoot and a holler to say the least!  He was one of the happiest clients we ever had the pleasure to work with.  And his friends and family were super loving and ready to celebrate he awesomeness from beginning to end.
