Santa Barbara ZooFari Ball 2022

It was another glorious night at the Santa Barbara ZooFari Ball — Enchanted Forest themed for 2022. Since 2016, The Replicas Music has provided premium entertainment year after year for this magnificent fundraiser for the animals.

In years past we had our trios for the two hour cocktail hour / silent auction. But in 2021 and 2022 we switched it up.

DJ Vero struck again with an amazingly curated set of songs that kept people gliding through the cocktail hour and bidding on silent auction items. It’s all for the animals! A lot of money was raised and everyone’s costumes were magical. We had butterflies, fairies, princes, princesses, damsels in distress, wizards and witches everywhere. Vero played the best ethereal hits by Enigma, Deep Forest, Zero 7, Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, (etc.) and ended the set with the iconic song by Rush “The Trees“. Everyone walked up the hill and into the beautifully designed space where The Main Attraction eventually took the stage.

Our 10-piece band dazzled the crowd with 2 hours of super famous dance, pop and rock hits which kept the dance floor jam-packed the entire time. Chris, Julian, Sid, Matt, Aaron, Ricky, Glen, Jude and Veronica were so happy to be graced with a new singer this year: Anja Nissen, winner of The Voice Australia. She was breathtaking and the band was rockin’! There’s nothing like a great horn-band to make your guests remember what an awesome event should feel like. Our musicians are not only charismatic and keep the audience engaged, but they play the hell out of their instruments! No mediocrity on our stage – EVER! And not arrogance either. These are the most humbly talented individuals.
